RRR Radio: Live Presenting and Technical Producing


Completed two shifts in the RRR Radio newsroom at RMIT, producing high quality news stories for print, online and broadcast platforms in a deadline-driven environment. Experienced a professional environment in a range of editorial roles, making management decisions, pitching workable and achievable ideas, writing in radio style, using software and hardware broadcast equipment, presenting live on air, taking part in pre-production and post-production work, and working collaboratively with my peers. Sports Editor

  • Wrote and created content for various topics and mediums.

  • Conducted editorial meetings with staff members to collaborate and review proposed publication suggestions.

  • Proofread, edited and evaluated final copy to verify content aligned with established guidelines.

  • Collaborated with design and editorial departments to meet desired content goals.
